Come join our ‘ohana! We're looking for the right restaurant professional with experience working in high volume restaurants to join our Kihei restaurant as a Food Expo.

MBC Restaurants are a direct extension of the values and practices we employ in brewing our handcrafted ales and lagers. Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests by being responsible for all preparation, interaction and steps of service needed to exceed guest expectations in the restaurant and bar.

Work closely with our Executive chef, management, and servers, organizing and executing food delivery as well as other functions.

·         Assist in preparing plates for service.

·         Greet all co-workers in a warm, personal, friendly manner.

·         Check that each plate is wiped and correctly garnished prior to leaving kitchen. Accountable for plates leaving the kitchen window.

·         Organize and call all food tickets.

·         Ensure efficient flow of food.

·         Understanding of health and safety rules in restaurants.

·         Follow company protocol and inform manager on duty for all noted guest allergies.

·         Lead and direct food runners.

·         Stock service areas with supplies such as plates, utensils, condiments, and to go items throughout service period.

·         Maintain awareness of current availability of food items throughout service period and communicat effectively with management and service team.

·         Take extra care to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in each duty performed.

·         Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding scheduling and attendance.

·         Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns; personal, employee or guest injury.

·         Follow food safety program guidelines of handwashing, bare hands, hygiene and health.

Experience: Prior restaurant experience required.  

Other: Must take and pass all training tests 90% or higher.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
