Come join our ‘ohana!  We're looking for the right restaurant professional with experience working in high volume restaurants to join our Kihei restaurant as a Logo/Retail Attendant.

MBC Restaurants are a direct extension of the values and practices we employ in brewing our handcrafted ales and lagers. JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests by being responsible for all preparation, interaction and steps of service needed to exceed guest expectations in the restaurant and bar.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide the highest level of service to our guests. Sell MBC sportswear and merchandise in restaurant Logo Booth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•      Greet all guests and co-workers in a warm, personal, friendly manner.
•      Greet guests and help determine what his/her wants or needs are; recommend and select items based on guests’ information and requests.
•      Describe and show items, explaining the care and use of items; help guests obtain the proper size.
•      Use point of sale system to ring in purchases, and receive and process cash or credit payments.
•      Maintain knowledge of current inventory, policy regarding payment and exchanges, and security information.
•      Maintain all required records related to sales.
•      Take and process phone orders and special orders.
•      Answer phones, assist callers, and take restaurant reservations.
•      Inventory and arrange stock, keep sales area clean including shelves, floor, and counters, ensuring all merchandise is presented in an appealing manner.
•      Balance cash drawer and complete daily sales reports.
•      Assist Logo wear Coordinator with the ordering, receiving, and inventory as needed.
•      Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding scheduling and attendance.
•      Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns; personal, employee or guest injury.
•      Follow food safety program guidelines of handwashing, bare hands, hygiene and health.

•       Generally - Ability to perform the Logo Sales job duties listed above in a professional and competent manner.
•       Guest Oriented - Ability to take care of guests needs while following MBC procedures.
•       Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
•       Safety - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety as well as safely operate and handle all required equipment, appliances, and tools. Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
•       Active Listening - Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
•       Communication - Ability to communicate by speaking, effectively and clearly with guests, coworkers, and management.
•       Response to direction - Receive and follow direction from supervisor; follow direction of computer generated tickets.
•       Teamwork Abilities - Ability to work together with a team in a positive manner to achieve a common goal.
•       Friendly - Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others.
•       Neat and well-groomed.
•       A one-time TB clearance must be obtained prior to starting work.

Experience: Minimum six months to one year related experience.  

Computer Skills: Experience with Point of Sale System preferred.

Other: Job offer contingent upon successful completion of background screening.

Must take and pass all training tests 90%.
